Holiday Cheer at Emerald Court Senior Living Center
December 2024 | Anaheim, CA
We partnered with a local senior living center and the City of Anaheim to bring a little Planner Power magic to residents who deserved some extra joy. Together, we transformed their community space into a festive, high-spirited celebration, complete with all the bells and bows you’d expect from seasoned planners.
This event wasn’t just about planning, it was about presence. Our Planner Power members generously donated their time, talent, and heart to bring this vision to life. From checking in residents and serving drinks to creating balloon arches, decorating the space, managing the photo booth, and simply putting a smile on someone’s face, our community showed up in a big way.
The Experience Included:
🍸 An Open Bar — With festive cocktails and mocktails to toast the season.
🍽️ Catered Food & Sweet Treats — Donated by generous partners and served with heart.
🎰 Casino Game Raffle — Residents played fun games to earn tickets and win prizes, sparking joy and friendly competition.
💃 Live Entertainment — Featuring a local children’s dance troupe performing holiday numbers and a DJ-led dance party that brought everyone, young and young at heart, onto the dance floor.
It was a celebration of life, laughter, and community, made possible by the support of the City of Anaheim, our vendor partners, and the giving spirit of our members.
This event reminded us that joy isn’t reserved for ballrooms and galas; it can, and should, be shared with those who need it most.
